"Ian Kay is a French-born artist of Armenian descent based in Barcelona, creating music that bridges eras while remaining unmistakably his own. Drawing inspiration from the melodic craftsmanship of the ’60s, the energy of early rock ’n’ roll, and the spirit of power-pop, his songs blend timeless influences with a fresh, personal perspective.

His debut album, Walk That Road Again, was produced in Los Angeles by Jeremy Yeremian and recorded entirely to tape at the legendary Valentine Recording Studios. Playing every instrument himself, Ian crafted a fully analog record defined by raw performances, rich textures, and an uncompromising DIY approach.

Following a series of acclaimed singles released through Discos Antifaz, Ian is currently working on his second album, expanding his sound with touches of ’70s glam and punk alongside the melodic sensibility of ’90s britpop and indie rock. The result is music that honors the past while pushing forward—restless, immediate, and timeless."
